This post about CHARLOTTE'S WEB being read aloud by a 6th grade teacher brought goose bumps through me. As a young 6th grade teacher I read aloud to my class every single day; one of the books I read aloud was CHARLOTTE'S WEB.
  It attests to the importance of reading aloud to children, even young adults, who rarely hear the spoken words that only great literature can bring.
