Some of my favorite characters who I don't think have been mentioned yet (not necessarily "character-driven" books):

Brian from the Gary Paulsen books Mitchell from Mildred Taylor's The Land Nory Ryan's Song by Patricia Reilly Giff Mattie Cook from Laurie Halse Anderson's Fever 1793 Mattie Gokey & sisters from Jennifer Donnelly's A Northern Light Billie Jo from Karen Hesse's Out of the Dust Billy Colman, Old Dan, and Little Ann from Wilson Rawls' Where the Red Fern Grows Edward Cullen of Twilight fame-Robert Pattinson in the movie version didn't hurt either :) The Pigeon books by Mo Willems

And I agree with those who have said Charlotte from Charlotte's Web; one of literature's most noble, memorable characters!
