Hello,

So many wonderful characters have already been mentioned!

 Here are a few more male characters:

Tigger from the classic Pooh books. He is so childlike in his unbridled enthusiasm and energy.

Ken in My Friend Flicka. He is portrayed clearly as a day dreaming, sensitive boy. As a nine-year-old, I felt as if he truly existed.

Blaze in Words of Stone by Kevin Henkes. Here's another sensitive boy.

Wilbur in Charlotte's Web. Who can resist Wilbur?

Robert in Barbara Seuling's series. He is a normal boy with just enough problems to make him seem real.
