No questions, just my compliments to Kerry Madden for serving up a superb biography of Harper Lee that reads, in one sense, continuously from where TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD leaves off.
I recall seizing the book the minute I read the review in the NYTimes book section. No doubt the author worked harder for information without Lee's cooperation and it showed. I particularly enjoyed the description of her college years in the South on the sorority circuit and the contrasts between Harper Lee and Truman Capote.
