We've gotten a little bit off-track in our discussion of tried-and-true picture books, but this whole side topic about folktales is quite interesting. I think it may merit its own full discussion in the near future, so we'll put it on the the list of potential topics.
In the meantime, thanks to all of you who contributed to the discussion of picture books. We're about to switch gears for the second two weeks of May but if you have any last-minute comments about tried and true picture books, please feel free to make them over this weekend.
