Everyone is invited to join the Chicago Public Library, the Sutherland Lecture Committee and the University of Chicago as we welcome Newbery and Coretta Scott King Medalist Christopher Paul Curtis on Friday, May 1, 2009. He will be presenting this year's Sutherland Lecture, "Writer's Soup," at the Harold Washington Library Center, 400 S.
