Abe's Honest Words: The Life of Abraham Lincoln by Doreen Rappaport, illustrated by Kadir Nelson.

 

The Mock Caldecott Honor Books are:

 

The House in the Night by Susan Marie Swanson, illustrated by Beth Krommes.

 

Wonder Bear by Tao Nyeu.

 

The other titles discussed were:

 

How I Learned Geography by Uri Shulevitz.

 

One Boy by Laura Vaccaro Seeger.

 

Silent Music by James Rumford.
