This hardcover edition is available from amazon.com at a 32% discount and they also have an audio download. The paperback edition I don't believe has come out yet.

It's not always the case that a sequel measures up to the first book in a series... D.M. Cornish managed to make me want book 3, whenever that one comes out, even more than he made me want to get my hands on Book 2! LOL
