[CCBC-Net] Oregon Library Association Mock Caldecott discussion list

On January 10, 2009 the Oregon Library Association Children's Services Division's 2009 Mock Caldecott Workshop will take place at the Salem Public Library from 9:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. After a refresher workshop from Nell Colburn and Steven Engelfried on how to look at picture books wearing one's Caldecott eyes, we will discuss the following books and then choose our mock winner.

* Billingsley, Franny. Big Bad Bunny. Illustrated by G. Brian Karas. Atheneum Books for Young Readers/A Richard Jackson Book

* Bryant, Jen. A River of Words: The Story of William Carlos Williams. Illustrated by Melissa Sweet. Eerdmans Books for Young Readers
