One of my frequent library users with a 17 month old, asked if I could purchase board books with photographs in them. She wanted her child to see real children in the books. So I having been purchasing more with that format in mind.
I saw the comment that in the beginning of this format, picture books were basically converted to board books. I am still seeing that a lot from the book sales people I deal with and it makes no sense to me.
Sandra Boynton is a favorite author of the board book crowd in my library.
