Apologies for this late posting, but cleared it with Megan.
The Center for Children's Literature at Carthage College
(Kenosha) is pleased to announce the second annual "The Business of Children's Publishing."
Friday, October 17 and Saturday, October 18, 9 ap to 3 pm.
Authors Gary D. Schmidt and Jan Greenberg as well as illustrator Timothy Basil Ering will talk about their works.
In addition, publisher Dinah Stevenson (Clarion), marketing manager Jason Wells (Abrams Books), agent George Nicholson
(Sterling Lord Literistic), editor Susan Pearson (Chronicle Books) and art director Marijka Kostiw (Scholastic) will describe the nature of their job roles.
Authors' books will be available for purchase and signing, and there are optional lunchs with the speakers, allowing for small group participation.
