Well-put, Penny! I did exactly the same thing -- ordered the book and began reading it the day it arrived. It will have a distinguished space on my personal professional bookshelf.
Thank you, Leonard Marcus, for everything you have written -- giving us "The Rest of the Story". Knowing the stories behind stories makes them so intriguing on a professional level...

I just want to state that I do not believe I have ever enjoyed a discussion more than this one! I ordered my own copy of this wonderful history since the discussion began and have already received it and began reading it last night. I would heartily recommend this title for anyone's nightstand for fascinating reading and then bookshelf for frequent and valuable reference. Thank you, Mr. Marcus, for participating and for your inspiring insights.
