Yes...legend has it that A Wrinkle in Time was turned down 28/29 times but it has always been my understanding that Madeline L'Engle revised the manuscript after it had been rejected. I do not know how many times it was revised, nor do I know if the version she submitted to FSG was dramatically different from the manuscript she submitted the first time round. Leonard, do you know anything about this? Norma Jean
