I read LOTS of blogs - agent and editor blogs, author blogs, artist blogs, and children's and YA lit blogs. I've compiled a list - by type - at http://www.asuen.com/blog/

I have three blogs of my own and was asked to create a fourth (that will debut before school starts in August.)

I'm a teaching writer, so my focus is education - 3 blogs are about books/activities for the K-8 classroom and the fourth is "Children's Book Biz News" (editors, agents and book lists) for my children's book writing students.

I highly recommend Google Reader. I have files for each type of blog so I can focus on one topic at a time.
