[CCBC-Net] Books and Blogs

This is a fun topic, because there are some great blogs out there. One of the most thoughtful is Monica Edinger's Educating Alice http://medinger.wordpress.com/. She combines her real-life classroom experience of working intensively with children and books with her own curiosity and experiences, so her entries are long and well thought-out.

I also especially enjoy Seven Impossible Things Before Breakfast, aka 7-Imp. http://blaine.org/sevenimpossiblethings/?page_id=15. The pair of librarians Eisha and Jules are refreshingly enthusiastic, and make their way through an amazing number of books each month.

The blog I never miss, though, is the already mentioned Read Roger. Roger stirs up interesting conversations almost every time he posts, and never hesitates to rile people with his provocative thoughts. Even when I don't agree, he makes me think, and he has some very high-profile commenters too.
