Hello, I'm *loving* the fact that more and more YA GLBTQ novels appear every season, but there remains a woeful lack of them in the nonfiction section, particularly in the history department. My own introduction to gay history for teens, GAY AMERICA: STRUGGLE FOR EQUALITY (Amulet Books, 2008) will be released in August, but I hope to see many more in the future, as this seems to be quite new territory for publishers. Questioning teens need and deserve access to this kind of historical context. Best, Linas Alsenas
