Not fond of the word? She HATED what Disney did to her story, and for years refused to talk about it or even acknowledge the Disney version existed.

need to go beyond "Supercal. . ." from Mary Poppins' song
For the record: This "Mary Poppins" song was written by Robert B. Sherman from Disney studios. It was NOT a part of the marvelous books by P. L. TRAVERS, a woman who was not very fond of the word!
