In the seventies Barbara Pilon, friend and fellow poet of Lee Bennet Hopkins, introduced me and my fellow graduate students to his work. I have been devoted to his novels and anthologies ever since. Barbara's husband, Al, endowed a poetry award in her name at Worcester State College in Worcester, MA. Each year poetry continues to stir the imagination and touch lives in Worcester through the passion and commitment of this remarkable duo. Jacqueline Finn
