Nobody has mentioned Freak the Mighty, also known as The Mighty! Great book for discussing bullies with middle grade kids. And for discussing relationships with middle school students. The Well, by Mildred Taylor, is a historical fiction with a distinct racist bully, which could also spark discussions. Gail Dent, White Elementary in Tucson
