I thank the person who noted the title should read BIRMINGHAM, 1963 for the LBH POETRY AWARD rather than my mis-typed l983!
Weatherford's book poignantly portrays events leading to church bombings which claimed the lives of four innocent girls in Birmingham, Alabama.
The date is important to note.
