Wednesday Wars- Miranda 11 Relationships were unique Otis 12, writing was good, plot could have been better. Isabelle 11- I liked that there was more than one story Sophie 11 - Its about a long time ago but it also seems like today. This is a time we don?t talk about.
True Meaning of Smek Day Jack- I could stop reading. Best book of the year. The Boov were great. Yoella12- hilarious, I loved the cat- pig Azizz 11- The best plot of all the books we read Carlotta 11- I liked the form of the essay as a way of telling the story? Andrew 12- I could really see the characters The story was unpredictable. Cal- 12 Exciting funny and weird Jenna, I loved it. I don?t like science fiction but I loved it. Miranda 11- Fun to read. I read non-stop. Real kids our age wouldn?t talk like this Judah 11
A Crooked kind of Perfect Colby age 12- I haven?t read anything like this. I like the quirky characters Judah- the characters were three dimensional, funny and interesting Jenna 12, not a word was wasted, the ideas were grown up Miranda 11- you got to know the characters by what they said to each other Colby- I liked the relationships Alex, age 11 It drew you in Bruke age 12- the plot was twisted and you knew what it felt like to lose and gain a friend. Pheobe age 10- This book was funny, sad, and real Katrina 11- the plot was unexpected Julie age 12 ?low key not as exciting as the other nominees Mia age 11_I like the way the ?she became herself? Alex 11- I play piano and I could really relate to her. Feelings were described well
The Very Ordered Existence of Merilee Marvelous Jenna, age 12 ?no one understood her but I did when I read this book Nora, age 11- never read a book before with these unique characters Mia- I have a cousin who is like this. This book is perfect and she read it and loved it.
This is just to say Nora 11- Touching Phoebe- Best book. I felt like the narrator was talking to me. Arden 12-I love the apologies and responses. I could hear the conversation. Isaiah 12- The poems had and actual story. Aziz-11 Even though the poems were short they gave you an in-depth look at the characters. Charlie- first poem book I read that I actually liked.
Book of a thousand days Celia- I liked the format of days instead of chapters Sophie age 12- Even though there were a lot of words you may not have known they made sense in the sentences Kristine 11- It was a fast adventure. I didn?t want to put it down.
