Hi all!
I'm forwarding this for the ALSC Office and will add the appeal that if you've used any of the materials from the Kids! _at_ your library campaign toolkit, to please let us know. We're evaluating the campaign and want to identify at least one library in each state that has used campaign materials. Our goal is 50; we've only reached the halfway mark. You can help us!
Thank you!

Greetings!
Have you listened to Bill Harley's song "At Your Library" lately? It's a fun and contagious tune that sings the praises of libraries and was written by Harley especially for ALSC's Kids! _at_ your library(r) Campaign.
Harley's CD I Wanna Play, which features "At Your Library," has been nominated for a 2008 Grammy for best musical album for children!
You can check out the song-and even download it and use it to promote your library-at the Kids! Campaign tool kit: http://www.ala.org/ala/alsc/projectspartners/KidsSong.htm The tool kit offers several versions of the song (e.g., instrumental, full vocals, etc.) to fit your needs. Libraries around the country have used "At Your Library" on their Web sites, during holiday parades, and as background music for promotional videos and during library events. Find out more ways the song was used at the Kids! Campaign wiki: http://wikis.ala.org/alsc/index.php/Uses_of_Bill_Harley%27s_song
Bill Harley even recorded a PSA incorporating the song, and it's free to libraries for download and use for promotional efforts. Check out this YouTube video to see how Dayton Metro Library used the PSA in a fun video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tZxkcfEK468
Learn more about the Kids! Campaign and the many other free resources it offers at: http://www.ala.org/ala/alsc/projectspartners/Kidsyourlibrary.htm.
If your library already is using Bill Harley's song or any of the other campaign resources, we'd love to hear from you. Your feedback will help us in designing future phases of the campaign. What tool kit items have helped you promote the library to children and their families? Send your comments to Laura Schulte-Cooper at: lschulte at ala.org or complete the Campaign evaluation survey at: http://www.ala.org/ala/alsc/projectspartners/EvaluationSurvey.htm
Best wishes, Laura
