The deadline to apply to participate in a national study on the impact of public library summer reading programs on student achievement is quickly approaching. Information about this important research project that is being lead by the Graduate School of Library and Information Studies is available on the web at

The fact sheet provides all the information you might need to be able to decide if your agency would like to apply to be part of this important project. There also is a sample of the partnership agreements that both the schools and the public libraries that will be working together must sign. The online application forms are also up and running.
