[CCBC-Net] Patricia Wrightson

Since people are talking about books that are not that new, I just want to chime in and say how much I appreciate the books of Patricia Wrightson. Her novels are mysterious and wonderful. She manages to evoke the feeling of being in the outback, where strange beings may be summoned. There'a a terrific trilogy. (Someone else will remember the titles of those books, I'm sure. I can't.) Just checked Madison Public Library catalog and found no listing of them. Not in the trilogy but really great is Nargun and the stars. I hope these books are not out of print. If you haven't read them, it is worth seeking them out.

My other favorite Australian author is Markus Zusak, but I think he's been mentioned.
