Perhaps many of you already know about this, but if not, you might be iterested in a monthly chat and author interview program that ALAN has at http://www.alan-ya.org/ In the interest of full disclosure I should confess that I know about it largely because they're featuring one of my books in September, but I visited it recently and enjoyed it so much I'm hoping to drop in often (it's open to everyone).

Here's how it works. On the 3rd Wednesday of each month, the chat is about a previously announced YA book, followed on the next Wednesday by a session at which chatters interview the author. The chat I attended was on 8/15; the discussion was about RAIDERS NIGHT by Robert Lipsyte. Here are the next few scheduled:

8/22: Robert Lipsyte 9/19: ENDGAME by Nancy Garden 9/26: Nancy Garden 10/17: THE WHOLE SKY FULL OF STARS by Rene Saldana, Jr. 10/24: Rene Saladana, Jr.
