I had a thought about another event that may have paralleled the release of this book:
The year 2000. It was anticipated by some for years and totally hyped in the last few months. Media coverage was awsome. For 24 hours starting Dec. 31 we watched the whole world celebrate the new year one hour at a time. It was so interesting to see all the celebrations in other cities and continents.
It was such a let-down in 2001 when all there was to watch on TV was New York, Milwaukee, and LA!
