We just finished the 7th book and wanted to check something out in our 6th book but can find it nowhere. Harry talks about Draco becoming the heir to Dumbledor's wand (Edelwand) without knowing it. I forget what happened on the rooftop when Draco set out to kill Dumbledor. How did he land up becoming heir to this wand?
(And if so, why did he not keep it, but instead, Dumbledor dies keeping it?)
