Ibtisam Barakat's new book, TASTING THE SKY:A PALESTINIAN CHILDHOOD is not about traveling per se, but the central event of her childhood was when she got
separated from her parents in the stream of Palestinian refugees fleeing to Jordan during the Six-Day War. As she was only three, how she kept going until she found her family is nothing less than a miracle. A truly scary journey.
