Librarians with the urge to write (and to augment their library collections) are invited to sign up for School Library Journal's volunteer DVD-reviewing team. Some writing ability is preferred. The benefits? Free DVDs and audiobooks for your library's collection! Possible fulfillment of some requirements for tenure! Publications to add to your resume! SLJ is looking especially for librarians/media specialists interested in reviewing social studies and science DVDs for middle and high school students, but reviewers for other subject areas are welcome as well.
