How do librarians respond to celebrity authors? Are you more apt to purchase such books because you think parents will ask for them?
In a school library, we don't have parents asking for books- but kids will sometimes ask- I had quite a few asking for Michael Jordan's book a few years back. TEACHERS ask. Katie Couric's book was requested by my teachers and social worker... Sometimes I do need to meet the needs of my constituents.... Micki
