Roni Schotter's book THE BOY WHO LOVED WORDS is a wonderful book. I loved it so much that I featured it in a column for LIBRARY SPARKS. If you are interested take a look at the column featuring "The Boy Who Loved Words." Column: In the Spotlight by Sharron L. McElmeel. Library Sparks. October 2006.
The column has several enrichment ideas for incorporating Schotter's book into many areas of the curriculum -- some fun tidbits about
"aubades" and the significance of names.
Sincerely, Sharron McElmeel
