Megan asked, "Who else can think of books that feature young writers or would-be writers? Are there ways you use books like these with children and teens?"
As a child I ADORED Harriet the Spy. I probably read my (paperback) copy a dozen times and finally had to bind it with duct tape to keep the spine from splitting. It was far and away my favorite book for years and years.
I don't work in a school or library, but I'm curious if teachers/librarians still read this book to kids, and if kids today still like it.
