That was great! Just great! Thanks for posting the link. I spent two hours yesterday at Adams Elementary here in Colorado Springs. They were participating in the Read Across America program and it was adorable to see all the children wearing paper hats, white and red, tall hats, just like the one the Cat in the Hat wears in the book! LOL. T

They had asked authors to come read to the children and authors came out to read to them. Some read Seuss books to the younger kids and for the older ones, 5th grade class, they'd asked the authors to read from their books or books they were working on so I got to read to two 5th grade classes from the manuscript from my middle grade novel, "Island Of My Heart." I came home with an actual hat made out of red and white felt that the teachers had made for each of the readers and I'll treasure that hat for a loooonnnggg time!
