Hi, all. Somehow when Scott Simon ran this story (see below), I was waiting for him to make a smooth segue into a story about The Higher Power of Lucky...a lost opportunity. But if it is okay to see scrotums/scrota dangling from a truck trailer hitch...why is it not okay for the word to be used appropriately in a wonderful and intelligently written book? Yikes! Speaking of the book, a local television station had a piece on the controversy last night--didn't ever say the word but showed the page of the book on screen--completely out of context, of course. Fortunately, the librarians interviewed were behind the book and not squeamish about it at all.
