ALA's Intellectual Freedom Committee has done a sensational job through the years defending libraries and librarians who have butted heads with censors. They have the skill, the experience, and contacts in place. They would be the organization to contact about Lucky although given the Times article, and Susan's being an experienced and skilled librarian, I would not be surprised if someone has not been in touch with her. Furthermore, the award is given by ALA. Norma Jean
