What scares me most about the censorship of a book by so-called
"professionals" is what may be the reason for such lily-livered reactions: too many of the educationalists in schools of educashun and liberrianship are advising a "safe" course of not buying books. Soon collections will consist of little of importance.
Next: weed Sendak? Mother Goose (bad word)? Dictionaries? White out words?
Frightening--frightening that those whom we entrust to train professionals are such examples. Those of us who put our jobs on the line to protect intellectual freedom, we who trusted young people, are being slapped down as fools.
