Hello.All
The excitement if over, and the choices have been made. I do hope that many book lovers will take a hard look at the Caldecott Honor book, MOSES There are so many different depths in the illustrations - the use of reflective light that strengthens the language of Tubman's spiritual leader. The way that Nelson kept the beauty of Tubman's features while never denying that physically she was not an attractive woman. The drama of moments in the story - the dogs at hand while Harriet slept - and so much more. I hope many many readers will take a long hard look at this Caldecott Honor Award
