When you next see Betty Miles, give her a BIG hello-o from Lee Bennett Hopkins. We go WAY back to Bank Street College days. We haven't seen one another in years. I still treasure my autographed copy of her book, JUST THE BEGINNING.
Thank you for responding to the news of dear Mary. She gave me my first taste of homemade chutney. I still have the empty jar it came in!
