Another absolute favorite from 2006, coming out in the US in early 2007:

        published by Bodley Head in the UK

I've already bought six copies and given away five. The copies are being passed around and it's a quick read even at 279 pages. Fairy folk, family, community, religion, time (and the shortage thereof), travelling between coexisting worlds... And it?s a real page-turner!

I?d peg it for grades 4 and up. A great read especially for kids who are Irish, love Irish music or dancing, love fairies...
