There's a new Will Hobbs book out about illegal immigrants called Crossing the Wire. It is for 5th grade up, and gives a rather balanced view of two very different immigrant boys. The main character is easy to relate to, and during the adventure the author gives information about the real reasons so many people risk trying to cross into the United States.
