For anyone who ever threw a ball with a good buddy, or spent time at a baseball stadium, Roasted Peanuts by Tim Egan is a sure hit. Pictures complement and expand the words, the humor and pathos of the plot is exquisite, and the story rounds out beautifully. Recommend following with a rousing rendition of Take Me Out to the Ballgame for a fun storytime theme.
