I couldn't agree with Lee more:

Once when I was autographing books, I met a third grader with owlish Harry Potter glasses who had spent her time in line reading the book she'd just acquired like a true bookworm.
"You look as if you're a person who loves reading," I said. She was absolutely horrified.
"NO," she said, "I HATE Reading . . . but I LOVE to read." It's not enough to teach kids HOW to read unless we also teach them to LOVE reading. Valiska http://www.valiskagregory.com
