Just yesterday a young man, probably in his early 20's, came to the desk in the Children's Center and told us his story... His first language is Spanish, he has only been in San Francisco a short time, and wanted to know if we had more of the R.L. Stine MOSTLY GHOSTLY series. He said that reading those books and the GOOSEBUMPS series has really helped him with his English vocabulary and understanding and he wanted us to know how glad he is that he discovered them!
  So they obviously have an "older" appeal as well as a younger one.
