I just got done reading a book called "I Can't Stop!" by Holly L. Niner. The book discusses how child deals with Tics and Tourette Syndrome. This book is an excellent way to teach students in elementary school what Tics are and how people can not usually stop them. I have been teaching for 5 years and I have not come across anyone with Tourette Syndrome. This book taught me about what to expect and how to help students who just can't stop!
