As I sent the Addams ceremony information, I was reminded that Addams winners in the Books for Younger Children category are great to use with older readers, as their topics are those that deserve recognition and discussion by all ages: peace, justice, conflict resolution, community and equality. Many of our committee members have used them with children older than the usual picture book age and found wonderful acceptance. Go to www.janeaddamspeace.org for the full list of honored books.
