Many years ago my son Mike said that anyone who could write "The Motel of the Mysteries" must be a genius. Today Mike, now an adult, sent me an email:
"Told ya!" Congratulations to David Macaulay who was just awarded a MacArthur genius grant. His picture books are surely for all ages.
