There seems to be a huge increase in patriotic themes in books over the last five years. Visualizations of the pledge, the national anthem, God Bless America, the preamble to the Constitution, A is for America, and a new blossoming of books on symbols, historic sites, and the states. The increased demand for nonfiction reading for the lower grades in school has helped push these publishing efforts as well, but the red, white, and blue is very evident!
