I just signed on to the list and have enjoyed reading the conversation about inspiring reluctant readers. Imagine my dismay when, as a children's librarian, I have ended up with a daughter who doesn't like to read on her own. She'll listen to me indefinitely and she reads well in school, but she just does not sit down to read by herself. Do you think this will all sort itself out eventually? Help please!
