As I am not a librarian or teacher, but an illustrator/author, I am not sure how on target I am for fifth grade struggling Hispanic English readers. However I do know that Alma Flor's book, " I love Saturdays y Domingos" has been popular because of its theme of cultural diversity and love. It is a picture book though,.
