[CCBC-Net] Henkes and the board book

I have not had a chance yet to see the new versions of covers, but I definitely remember as a child being disturbed and disappointed when the covers differed from the text descriptions. It seemed insulting that whoever was in charge of cover illustrations showed such disrespect for the story.

And with films, I get so distracted by the changes that I lose the thread of the movie.

I'm curious about what everyone thinks about updated covers for classic books. For example, I saw the new cover for "My Friend Flicka" at the Pet store yesterday, and they've turned Flicka from a chestnut color to jet black. Other updates:
